Description

We are delighted to introduce you to A Town Called Ennis. This is a magical new book written by Chris Judge and Students of CBS Primary School Ennis and illustrated by Chris. It is also Chris Judge’s debut as a fiction writer for children.

The book is also notable as the very first fiction book created in collaboration between and author and the students of a school as part of the Percent for Art scheme.

Something terrifying lurks beneath Ennis. On the eve of Halloween, the ancient creature stirs and stretches, shaking the ground above.

When four ravens choose their young warriors, the children are forced into an epic battle to save the town. Sixty years later, these warriors must train the new recruits, four children from CBS school. But time is running out! Can they join forces to fight the gigantic creature and his fire-breathing army before it’s too late?

Join them on a thrilling adventure as they race through the streets of Ennis side-stepping an earth-shaking, tree-chomping colossus.

Filled with trolls, water bombs, sliotars, moving statues and hoards of kids clutching hurleys, A Town Called Ennis is an entertaining and crazy caper.

Even The Ennis Bookshop is featured!!!!!.
