The thing about farms is, there are lots of noises. But these were CRUNCHES and CRASHES, which aren't good ones. Especially when Bruce the boar is around . . .

Date Published: 11 Sep 2025

My name is Kaleb, and I am a farmer. I've been a farmer since I was a boy. And I absolutely LOVE it.

Grab your wellies and join Kaleb, his trusty dog, and the love-of-his-life tractor in these muddy, true, and very silly stories from the farm.

You'll meet Jeff the Mad Rooster, Bruce the Breakout Boar (and MAYBE even catch him), learn the wisdom of sheep, and discover how using a tractor can solve nearly every problem there is.

From the nation's favourite farming star, Kaleb Cooper, and with funny illustrations, too, these silly and true tales - packed with everything Kaleb's learnt since he first became a farmer - are perfect for all farm-mad fans aged 5-7 years old.

About the Author

Kaleb Cooper (Author)
Kaleb Cooper is a farming contractor from Oxfordshire who plays a central advisory role to Jeremy Clarkson in the hit Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm. Born in July 1998, he grew up in the Cotswolds and has been working in farming since he was at school. He studied agriculture at Moreton Morrell College and likes collecting tractors and cars, not so keen on sheep. His first book, The World According to Kaleb, was an instant Sunday Times Bestseller. He lives in Chipping Norton with his young family and doesn't like to leave the county. This book is his first for all his young farming fans.

Tom Knight (Illustrator)
Tom Knight is an illustrator from the east coast of England. After ten years working as a graphic designer, he began illustrating books for children. He works from a poorly temperature-controlled studio in the garden, where he is constantly distracted by the greedy birds that hang out by the feeder outside his window.
