Loki's fourth doodle-packed diary in the number one best-selling series.
Loki has made a fair few enemies during his time in Asgard. Too many to count and certainly too many to remember. When the elf, Vinir beams Loki aboard his chariot and challenges him to a magical duel, Loki hasn't got a clue why.

Sweet talking his way out of a fight by pointing out there's little honour in duelling someone who can't remember how they wronged you, and even less in picking on a child, Loki is returned safely to school.

That is until Vinir shows up in child form, as resolute as ever about seeking that duel... and vengeance.

About the Author

Louie Stowell writes books about magic, gods and monsters (mostly). She has written carefully-researched books about space, ancient Egypt, politics and science but eventually lapsed into just making stuff up. She has written fiction for 8-12 (Nosy Crow and Walker Books US), but Loki: A Bad God's Guide series is her first as both author and illustrator, inspired by her research into Norse myths.

Returning to these familiar characters is like sinking into a warm, cosy blanket. Easy reading (I read it in one day) and a great continuation of the story of Loki. * Netgalley Reviewer *
I found this book very entertaining... I liked the parts when he tried to practice a spell but got bored a few minutes later. A book I would totally recommend to children 7yrs and up. A book worthy of anyone's praise. * Toppsta Reviewer age 13 *
I really like Loki books and I like that you can read this one without having read the other Loki books (there is a recap at the start). Loki books have lots of doodles, pictures and parts that 'talk' to the reader... It's a busy time for Loki and I like knowing his thoughts on all of these things (he is very honest with the reader). This is another brilliant book that I really enjoyed reading. I think anyone in Upper Key Stage 2 will love this book. * Toppsta Reviewer age 10 *
