Highly recommended. This delightful collection of Irish poetry for children, which includes some familiar poems and others new to discover, will appeal to young and old alike and is perfect for reading aloud. A welcome addition to all classroom and library collections. * School Library Journal (Starred review) *

We have really enjoyed this book of poetry and it's one that we have chosen often at bedtime. The poetry is enjoyable and accessible and I hope it is one we will treasure for a lifetime.

What we have here is an honest-to-goodness Irish poem anthology ... Kids (and, let's face it, parents) unfamiliar with Irish poetry and literary history will find this a good starting point.
